Formatting Content with the Article Editor

The Content box on the article create/edit page is a rich text editor — it works much like a simplified word processor. This article covers every button on its toolbar.

Inserting images

  1. Click into the body where you want the image to appear.
  2. Click the picture icon in the toolbar.
  3. Choose an image file from your computer, or paste an image URL.
  4. The image uploads automatically and is inserted at your cursor.

Once inserted, click an image to reveal handles for resizing it, or a small toolbar for aligning it left, center, or right.

Images inserted directly into the content are meant for illustrations that belong inline with the text (screenshots, diagrams). For downloadable files like PDFs or slide decks, use the separate Attachments section instead — see "Uploading and Managing File Attachments".
